Summer Haul

Hey everyone! Shopping is one of my favourite things! It’s not just about buying them or owning them, I love to go to different shops and see what’s new and on at the moment. With Summer finally here, I went ahead and did some shopping, and as you can probably guess, I’m going to share with you what I bought.

I’m a makeup addict but I’m also very spared. However, this weekend I bumped into some amazing sales and I purchased some things… The first thing I got wasn’t in sales at all, it was actualy a bit expensive, but my beautiful Mummy bought me anyways, as a reward for my good marks at school. I’m talking about the Too Faced ‘Natural Matte’ palette, the most precious thing I’ve ever owned. I’ve been trying it a lot, and you’ll see some posts about it soon, I promise!

I also bought two L’oreal products. Firstly, I purchased the ‘Lumi Magique’ primer. I’ve been keeping my eyes on this one for quite a long time now and I decided that it was finally time to get it. I haven’t tried this one yet, but it seems very promising! Since, in Pluricosmetica, a drugstore here in Portugal, they had amazing sales, I also bought from this brand the ‘MissManga’ mascara. I had already tried this product at my friend Lulu’s house, and I love it! It is a bit tricky to apply, since the wand is bendable but your lashes get super long and voluminous, without that threatening spider effect!

From the Maybelline section, I got two products. The first one was the ‘Master Smoky’ eyeshadow pencil, which I can’t wait to try out! I also got the ‘Dream Summer’ bronzer, with three lovely different shades!

I also bought some clothes. From Pimkie, I got this black, floral top, super flowy and perfect for a summer night out with your friends! Also from Pimkie, I got this white top, with a white collar. I think this one is super cute and it’s also very comfortable. From Oysho, I got this amazing bikini. It looks beautiful, especially if you have a tan!

Finally, I got this super cute notebook from Tiger. I swear to you, that store is amazing! I can gladly spend hours in there, it’s just amazing and super cheap!

♥ Happy Curls ♥

Hey everyone! For me, especially during Fall and Winter, it’s super important to keep my hair feeling soft and hydrated. It’s also a must for me to keep it with texture and with my curls defined. My hair isn’t really curly, but it’s very wavy, and my waves tend to get crazy with the weather…  So today, I’m going to chat about a product that I’ve been absolutely loving, and that has been saving my curls from the crazy humidity!

I’ve known Loreal’s hair products for ages now, and they’ve never failed me. The Loreal’s ‘curly contour’ hair mask is no exception. I’ve bought this  a month ago, when the school started, and let me tell you: it’s been doing a really good job! The product has a great texture, very rich and thick. It’s definitely the most nourishing and softening hair mask I’ve ever bought! After applying it and rinsing it off, you can observe the results almost immediately: you’re hair will feel soft and you’re curls will be really defined. Another great thing about this hair mask it’s its fantastic scent! The only problem about this product it’s the fact that it isn’t very cheap but, since the the package is quite big, it lasts a long period of time.

To sum it up, I must say that I definitely recommend this product, it’s the best hair mask I’ve ever tried so far without a doubt!

Hey everyone! Today, I’ll be chatting to you about some products and random things that I’ve really enjoying this past month. Let’s do this, shall we?

Body/ Bath products

Surprisingly, this month I’ve been loving lots of products that I use in the shower. For my hair, I’ve been loving the ‘Honey Treasures’ conditioner by Garnier. Since I’ve been travelling quite a lot, I felt the need to buy a product that it would be easy to carry in my suitcase and with a wonderful scent. And let me say, I found the right one! Everytime I use it, my hair feels so soft and smells so goood!! I’ve also tried the shampoo, it’s equally amazing! During the summer my hair gets lighter, but, to help my hair at that department, I picked up the Klorane’s ‘Champoo with Camomile’, so my hair would naturally get blonder. I absolutely love this shampoo! The scent and the texture are great, and it does a great job at cleaning my hair. The only problem with this product is the fact that it’s a bit pricier than normal shampoos that you buy at the supermarket.

As a body lotion, I’ve the Dove’s ‘purely pampering nourishing lotion’ with coconut milk and jasmine petals. Everytime I use it my skin feels so soft and I also get compliments about the way I smell. It has a very thick and amazing texture that leaves your skin feeling like a baby’s butt! It also has a quick absorption, I don’t need to wait a lot of time for the body lotion to dry, and I don’t feel sticky at all.

Makeup products

In the makeup department, I’m only going to talk about two products. The first one, I purchased recently, and I adore it! I’m talking about the ‘Baby lips eletro lip balm’ by Maybelline. I own the color ‘berry bomb’, and you might have guessed it’s a gorgeous purple shade. I bought this when I was at the supermarket with my mum and when I picked it up my dear mummy got so scared! Ahah she thought, it was dark purple and that would be much pigmented. This lip balm is very moisturizing and it leaves a beautiful purple glow on my lips. I’m especially excited to use it at autumn and winter!

The other makeup item that I’m going to talk about today is mascara. It’s the Loreal’s ‘Voluminous x5 Carbon Black’. I’ve own this for a few time now, but I’ve just started using it now. At the beginning I hated it, it left my lashes very clumpy and spider like. But, now that’s a little dryer, it’s the perfect mascara! It’s very thick and really black but I absolutely love it! The only negative thing about this is that you need to be super careful when applying this mascara, since the brush is very thin and accumulates a lot of product, so smudging is very likely.

Food

Let’s talk about the most importing thing: my favourite food of this month. Ahah joking, but I’ve really enjoying a few things. First of all, I’ve been obsessed with yogurt! I know this is kind of random but it just taste so good! I’ve been loving Activia yogurts, especially the one with mango and the one with cereals! I don’t know if you have Activia yogurts at your country, but let me tell you, they’re amazing! I’ve also been loving this cereals, from a supermarket in Portugal. They contain coconut, raisins and dried banana and they taste like healthiness and paradise ahah.

Music/TV 

For the past months, I’ve been obsessed with 5 Seconds of Summer! They’re four boys from Australia, super funny and also very cute ahah! My favourite song at the moments is VoodooDoll, the acoustic version. They are coming to Portugal in May, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to come, since it’s in Lisbon, and I live in Porto… But hopefully they will come to my city too… My favourite tv program has been Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. At first, I didn’t really like it, but, somehow, I got obsessed! It’s an amazing tv series!
